Adult Literacy Services

These classes are designed to help students advance to higher levels of English by placing emphasis on developing students' reading, writing, oral, and listening skills. Instruction is given exclusively in English for a total immersion experience. There will be a focus on everyday interaction skills as well.

Help adult learners master the basic skills they need to advance to the next level of education, training, or entry-level employment. Learn basic components of technology and are able to access virtual/distance learning as needed.

Help students with personal finance in America. Covering money management, budgeting, and banking. Role-playing interactions within the context of banking/shopping situations are used to help students with oral language skills.

Community volunteers will be invited to join as one-on-one volunteers to facilitate English conversation practice.
