Empower community members by fostering creative expression, collaboration, and skill-building within a supportive environment, culminating in the creation of public art that showcases their work.
The program will be held in Grove City (exact location to be announced). Sessions will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning May 6th, from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. During the summer months of June, the schedule will shift to 1:00 to 2:30 PM.
The target audience is middle school and high school students from the Grove City community.
- May: Introduction and Team Building
- June: Visual Arts and Gardening
- July: Performing Arts and Improvisation
- August: Mural Creation and Collaboration
- September: Final Showcase and Celebration
Others: Snacks are provided each day.
- Art supplies (paint, brushes, canvas, paper, etc.)
- Gardening tools and seeds
- Planter pots
- Theater props and costumes
- Dance space or portable flooring
- Community mural wall and paint
- Snacks, soda, and water for participants
- Strengthened community bonds
