We develop education programs for underserved youth that expand their potential. We help our students make an impact in their local community, and enable them to expand and make an impact in local and global communities and businesses where they may study, live and work.
This program has 4 modules that are 5 weeks long each, giving students 20 weeks worth of practical, financial knowledge.
With this program we provide teachers with tools and resources to improve the reading skills of every student at every level.
Grow Global, hosted by WCBE Podcast Experience and LifeSmart Education, has the mission to bring educators, professionals, and students together with the purpose of talking about Global Education, Cultural and Language Immersion, Diversity, Social & Emotional Learning, The Purpose of Our Education System, among other critical topics that must be addressed.
The diversity of candidates in the candidate pool ultimately starts in high school and secondary education. As an organization, LSE aims to increase the diversity in the available pool of candidates by intervening early in a child’s educational journey and driving candidates toward pursuing advanced education and senior leadership positions in the business environment.

LifeSmart Education takes an active role in the development of children in our public schools through the presence of volunteers focused on literacy. We mentor students one hour per week utilizing a hybrid method. Reading Mentors meet with the students virtually. An in-class mentor monitors and assists small groups of 5 children while they are tutored by their Reading Mentor virtually. Individualized tutoring is provided based on each student's educational needs. We also provide books for the students to enhance literacy at home.
Giving back to our communities is a priority for us, and the foundation of what we do. Our students attended an event that donates glasses to countries in Africa and other impoverished communities around the globe. Way to go guys!
We encouraged our students to attend a reading literacy book fair. It is important to us because it's important that our youth learn to read comprehensively and make it a part of their everyday lives...
At LifeSmart Education, we work with youth from elementary to high school. These are some of our younger students during our annual student appreciation event at Dave & Busters. It was a blast!!
The annual LifeSmart Education student appreciation event at Dave & Busters. Our students are the core and passion of what we do. We want them to know that they represent a new generation of ambassadors in our society.
Graduates that participated in one of our LifeSmart Education programs. We are so proud of them!!
Our Global Diversity Abroad Program offers our students tours to Washington D.C. and Boston. This is just the beginning of great experiences for our youth. Next stop...Europe!
Since 2014 we have educated over 1,000 students.
We use award-winning evidence-based curricula

Less than 4% of minority youth study abroad.

LifeSmarteducation has provided education to improve graduation rates, improve grades, decrease violence and help with employability
Since 1986, the curriculum ARISE has been empowering at-risk youth through a cost-effective, adaptive solution. Through simple and hands-on lessons that are easily adaptable to pre-existing coursework, students benefit from both approachable and interactive activities. Lessons are primarily taught in groups of varying ages, education levels, and backgrounds. Typically lessons last 45-60 minutes per session in order to maximize retention rates as long sessions can deter a student’s focus
Our students learn
21st Century Skills
We teach (Life Skills) locally so that students are ready to present themselves on the world stage (Global Skills)
Learning from another perspective engages the mind to see the world differently. Using our curricula combined with national travel and abroad travel to bring students unique opportunities for learning in the landscape of global education.
Demonstrating that youth should do everything they do with excellence. Teaching youth how to be excellent in every moment of their life. If students are engaged in an activity that is dancing, the objective becomes teaching youth to focus and be excellent in dance and having this experience trickle down to whatever it is they want to be in life. Teaching youth how to be disciplined and taking the experience of excellence as a learning objective.
Patricia Demetriou, president and founder of LifeSmart Education, discusses this non-profit organization that seeks to enrich the lives of underserved youth by teaching life skills, financial literacy and opportunities for growth and development.
