Since 1986, the curriculum ARISE has been empowering at-risk youth through a cost-effective, adaptive solution. Through simple and hands-on lessons that are easily adaptable to pre-existing coursework, students benefit from both approachable and interactive activities. Lessons are primarily taught in groups of varying ages, education levels, and backgrounds. Typically lessons last 45-60 minutes per session in order to maximize retention rates as long sessions can deter a student’s focus

If students are engaged in an activity that is dancing, the objective becomes teaching youth to focus and be excellent in dance and having this experience trickle down to whatever it is they want to be in life. Teaching youth how to be disciplined and taking the experience of excellence as a learning objective.

LifeSmart Education takes an active role in the development of children in our public schools through the presence of volunteers focused on literacy. We mentor students one hour per week utilizing a hybrid method. Reading Mentors meet with the students virtually. An in-class mentor monitors and assists small groups of 5 children while they are tutored by their Reading Mentor virtually. Individualized tutoring is provided based on each student's educational needs. We also provide books for the students to enhance literacy at home.
With this program we provide teachers with tools and resources to improve the reading skills of every student at every level.
